Technological, Environmental, and Social Perspectives of Forestry in China Business
Forestry evokes images of primordial industrial activities such as logging, with inevitable environmental concerns. It is also assumed that these preserves are best left to indigenous communities alone, with little or no room for modern technologies and area developments. However, the contrary has become true in this Millennium, with a host of new ideas and ways of blending the beautiful versatility of green forests and the hard facts of modern commerce. It is now possible to nurture pristine eco-systems, while simultaneously making growing contributions to national exchequers and to local communities as well.
